The kitten/kitty is always well groomed and deemed in good condition. Erek is full of personality and is a real showman. He loves showing and getting the judge's attention, and putting on a 'Cameo Appearance'.

About Siberians

Siberians are much like RagaMuffins and Maine Coons...

and they are hypoallergenic.

A rare breed, they are Russian forest kitties and Russia's national cat.

Siberians are beautiful, loving, loyal, your shadow, intelligent,

trainable, 'flyers,' and 'chirpers'.

They are extremely loyal and faithful.

Sibs are keen kitties who figure things out and love to play games.

They are highly trainable and love to be rewarded.

They are slow maturing kitties. Sibs love to butt heads

and they come up to you and smell (literally sniff) you.

They come when you call their name.

They are very much like RagaMuffins, requiring little grooming

but they love to be brushed and combed.

Grooming

The Siberians are self-groomers ... they are low maintenance, because they rarely have tangles or mats and are always preening themselves. We recommend that a kitty go to the groomer every couple of months or so, or that you learn to bathe your kitty yourself. In my booklet of information and notes, I give instructions on how to bathe your kitty. We comb our kittens and kitties but they do like to be brushed. Maintaining their lovely coat is easy. They love ribbons and will wear cloth neck triangles (cowboy/cowgirl scarves).

Erek is Grand Champion and #1 winning Siberian (ACFA & UFO) for 2007 and 2008. He has the best of the best temperaments and personalities. He is an extrovert and loves to put on a show. Erek talks and chirps, and loves the babies...he is ever mindful of them and loves to cuddle with them. Erek was imported from northern England. His breeder is Jenny Carter. Leda, also a champion, was imported from Russia. I am very lucky to have her, as she was not registerable except for TICA. Through a lot of effort, I was able to track down her breeder, Tatiana Mareeva, who was able to help me get her World Cat Federation (Felinological Association of Russia) pedigree in English. Thus, I am forever grateful to Tatiana.

I believe these are the ultimate cats. They are much like our RagaMuffins as they mature very slowly (3-4 years). Siberians are 'forever young' and always ready to play. They have an extremely loud purr and chirp (chirrup). Like RagaMuffins, the Sibs are very affectionate and want to be with people. They can be independent, but like to follow and are always at the door when I arrive back home after going out. They love toys especially teasers.
